I’ve released an urban fantasy novella.
This feels like it is, in many ways, my debut book. With Sunday Game Sessions I joined together all the web serial posts I’d made and put them on Amazon, but with this book I worked through the text with an editor, had proof reading done repeatedly, adjusted the text based on feedback from beta readers and purchased a custom, designed cover. I enjoyed the process of having a cover made so much, that I’ve added a new cover to “Sunday Game Sessions” that I really love.
The ‘blurb’ for “Merchant Magician” is:
Exiled from his family of traders in mystical goods and services on his 23rd birthday, the merchant magician must make his way in the world: meeting mermaids in San Francisco, Midwestern leprechauns, Icelandic dwarves and the girl of his dreams, who happens to be a cultist devoted to the rise of the great old ones who will consume the world in ash and fire when they awaken.
Blending real-world negotiation theory with a coming of age story in an urban fantasy setting, this book will appeal to fans of Jim Butcher, Charles de Lint and Neil Gaiman.
It’s available to read for free on Kindle Unlimited, and for purchase as an e-book or in print. More information here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08VHL5YH5/
